Hyatt Hotels to open nearly 90 new luxury and lifestyle hotels across Asia Pacific
The Thompson Hotels label, which originated in Manhattan, is projected to make its Asia Pacific entrance with Thomspon Shanghai Expo, which is scheduled to start in 4Q2025. In August, the group’s Park Hyatt brand will make its Malaysian come out with Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. Located atop The Merdeka 118, the highest high-rise in Asia Pacific, the hotel will use several culinary experiences. Park Hyatt Tokyo will also reopen in 4Q2025, following a 17-month enhancement effort.
Following Hyatt’s purchase of Standard International in 2024, the group is going to also present The Standard, Pattaya Na Jomtien. The resort is readied to establish in 3Q2025, and will feature a 60s-inspired beach club visual.
