Samty sells two investment pools of Japan multifamily assets worth JPY49 bil

According to Yasuhiro Ogawa, president and CEO of Samty Holdings, the sale of the two investment pools mirrors investors’ awareness of possibilities developing from the company’s improvement into a financial investment platform.

In July, Samty revealed the wrapping up of its very first hotel-focused private property fund, with capital totalling JPY17 billion.

The investment pools include 30 newly-built multifamily assets with a gross asset worth of JPY49 billion ($0.43 billion), with 70% located in Tokyo, Osaka and other main cities inside Japan.
